Since Lucy's passing, my home hasn't been the same. I have been depressed without having a dog here. I had replied to a post on Craigslist back in January to a woman who was moving to Maine and was giving her dog up for free, it was a husky/wolf mix and he seemed perfect. But she hasn't replied to me in the last month and a half, so here I am looking through the shelters in Maine. I may have found one who will fit our home perfectly. He has the best temperament and gets a long with everyone, cats, dogs and kids alike. He was found on the end of a leash down south and has been drifting shelter to shelter and has ended up in Maine. However, since he has been flown up his fee is dramatically higher, costing $275. Although I will pay anything for this lovable pup named Duke. Still awaiting a response on the adoption application and hopefully will find out by today or tomorrow at the latest.
